I’m so excited to finally share the indie pilot for HIVE the series publicly!

For several years, I’ve collaborated with filmmakers Stephanie Jeter and Tim Maupin to co-create a unique near-future world, with interconnected narratives informed by complex issues of social justice, technology and culture. That’s the vision for Hive the Series.

And with our indie pilot -- TRACE -- we’re exploring freedom of expression and creativity in the age of algorithms and artificial intelligence.

In this episode four artists struggle to work and live together in an artist residency managed by a mysterious artificial intelligence system. Forbidden symbols appear in some artworks and the AI takes extreme measures to control the situation.

Our distribution deal with OTV | Open Television (co-founded by my partner Aymar) begins this week, building on our string of successes at Series Fest 7, Minnesota Webfest, and the Fade in Sci Fi Awards. We’ve got a few more places to push the project, and now is the time to get the word out far and wide.
